Change is here to stay!
This talk will provide an overview of some principle developments in Language Analysis and Second Language Analysis theory and practice, over recent decades. Participants will be invited to reflect on how these changes in theory have affected practical teaching and changed teachers attitudes to the language learning process. The conclusion we will reach together is that because of the continuous increase of knowledge and information of all professions, the effective teacher will become a model of lifelong learning for students. When we stop learning, we stop living, some people say. True or not, one thing is certain: Change is here to stay!
